Learn about our mission, vision, and role in developing Egypt's real estate finance market.
The Egyptian Mortgage Federation (EMF) was established in 2015 pursuant to Law No. 148 of 2001 under the supervision of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) to serve as the official representative body for real estate finance companies and banks in Egypt.
Bringing together over 39 specialized financial institutions and banks, the Federation strives to harmonize regulatory and accounting frameworks, thereby advancing the real estate finance system and facilitating access to housing for Egyptian citizens.
The Federation's work is built on a set of complementary pillars that collectively support the development of the mortgage finance sector.

Producing specialized reports and studies on mortgage finance market performance and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
Developing human capital in the sector through specialized training programs and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Organizing conferences, forums, and workshops that bring together all stakeholders to exchange experiences and explore opportunities.
Raising public awareness about mortgage finance products and mechanisms and how to benefit from them effectively.
